I'm Melissa Goodyer and I'm a trained proofreader and copyeditor. What's more, I'm also an author, so I understand how much your words mean to you. Let's polish them together.
I offer a variety of editorial services to fiction and nonfiction writers. As a published art historian, I can also offer specialist editing for art history publications and journal papers.

I'm a chartered editor and proofreader, with an M.A. in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University. I have a Level 4 Diploma in Proofreading and Copyediting from the College of Media and Publishing. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading. For 16 years I worked as a modern art curator crafting text for books and exhibitions. Now I write novels and my aim is to help you hone your own writing craft.
